Police arrested Misael Echevarria, 43 of North Bergen, and charged him with child endangerment, making terroristic threats and false public alarm.
Cliffside Park High School went into "lockdown," after Echevarria called and threatened to "shoot up the school."
Police were said to have tracked Echevarria's via cellphone, obtained a warrant and arrested Echevarria at his North Bergen home on 41st Street.
Echevarria was taken to a local hospital for psychological evaluation.
This is the 2nd time the North Bergen man was charged with making terroristic threats. Court records show that Misael was arrested in Union City in 2007 for aggravated assault and weapons possession.
